Hot is an Oven

And a fool am I for thinking that baking on a 102 degree afternoon is a good idea. Ah well, sometimes you need a lil chocolate cake to make it all better.

Aztec Chocolate Bread Pudding Cake ( now in sunflower form):
1 loaf chocolate pound cake, crumbled to bits
1 bag chocolate chips, note I am not dictating how many chips, if you need more chocolate, you need more chocolate
4 eggs
1 1/2 c milk whole
1 tbs vanilla
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbs sugar
1 tsp chili pepper flakes
1/2 tsp cayenne
1 tsp orange zest
2 tbs coconut oil, greasing the pan

crumble the bread and mix with the choc chips and place in greased pan
mix remaining ingredients and pour over the crumbles & chips
pat down a bit to ensure soaking up properly

bake at 350 for 35 min.

enjoy after being devastated by the afternoon heat as dinner for the evening.
